I started off my training into affiliate marketing with a platform called Wealthy Affiliate, there I have learnt everything I now know and absolutely love the community within the platform. New friends from across the other side of the world, something I once dreamed of and now happening. I had pen friends when I was younger, but this is top level because I get to live chat with other likeminded people from all different countries.
When I first started, I was as green as you could be. I’ve spent most of my working life doing physical work, coming into online affiliate marketing was all new to me. All I knew was how to work the keyboard. I decided I wanted to keep mentally active and this is a main reason I have started my online projects. At first, I thought “How am I going to do this?” But by starting at the beginning and doing the simple steps provided, I learnt how to create my very first online business from scratch, and I can assure you it was a wonderful feeling of achievement. What I love is being able to do my online work when and where I want! And so, I have continued to learn, to grow my businesses and the learning never ends. With access to ongoing classes, webinars and more, I am consistently learning.
On Wealthy Affiliate platform, I got all the information and access to the resources all in one platform to get my business up and running. Doesn’t happen overnight, but with persistence, commitment, trial and error I’ve made it work and now I want to share with others how to do it as well, especially beginners, who don’t know where to start and also retirees who want to keep mentally active and create an online business presence.
